Welcome to the City Photos and Books, Inc. web site. We celebrate local communities and the people that live there. We create portraits in settings where people live, work, and play. We also produce books that celebrate our small towns, big cities, and college campuses; locations that provide a real sense of place, a local economic engine, and a source of community pride.
We specialize in high school seniors, families, children, pets, and engagement photographs. We create images you will be proud of. In addition, we craft unique cards for graduation parties and holiday events that feature our photographs.
Our goal is to capture special events and important moments in time. We prefer to photograph where you live, work or play; photos that are reflective of the lifestyle you lead.

City Books
Please enjoy the urban places featured in our books whenever you can. Visit downtown and stroll the sidewalks, enjoy coffee or a drink, eat a meal, and support the local businesses. Passing through in a motor vehicle is not a downtown experience; being downtown requires interaction on the streets and sidewalks, in restaurants and shops, and in parks and on pathways.

For senior portraits, students from the following high schools are expected to be part of our initial coverage area: Birmingham Ernest Seaholm High School, Birmingham Wylie Groves High School, Bloomfield Hills Andover High School, Bloomfield Hills Lahser High School, Brother Rice High School, Cranbrook, Detroit Country Day School, Farmington Harrison High School, Farmington High School, International Academy, Marian High School, North Farmington High School, Novi High School, Rochester Adams High School, Rochester High School, Rochester Stoney Creek High School, Roeper School, Southfield High School, Southfield-Lathrup High School, Troy Athens High School, Troy High School, Royal Oak High School, and West Bloomfield High School. Many additional locations will be included.
