Mill Race Historical Village was established in 1972 on the site of a former grist mill. It seeks to preserve important structures and architectural styles previously found in the Northville area. It is truly a living museum.
The photographs were taken in late October and early November, 2008 at the height of the fall color season. Most of the photography was done in the early morning hours when the shadows were long and the sun was bright.
A portion of the proceeds from every book sold at retail goes to benefit the Northville Historical Society. The Society is currently raising funds for a General Store, which has already started construction.
